2006 OVC Football Blog Games of the Year
The results are in, and our readers obviously are looking forward to seeing the pre-season conference favorite play. Eastern Kentucky is featured in all three of the games chosen by our readers in the 2006 OVC Games of the Year polls. Here are the winners and the results of voting.

Eastern Illinois at Eastern Kentucky, Oct. 14

The Colonels host their hated arch-rivals from cross-state, the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers of the Gateway Football Conference, in the Battle of the Bluegrass. An EKU win in this game could be a shot in the arm for the entire conference.

The Colonels make a short trip up Interstate 75 to take on the Cincinnati Bearcats of the Big East Conference. Some are calling this game one of I-AA's best shots at an upset against a I-A team.

Yeah, anyway, interesting to note that 61 people voted for the OVC game, but 31 and 35 voted for the other two, respectively. Nice picks despite the Eastern Bias.
